Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning

The thorough clean that stands between you and your security deposit

Move-out cleaning is its own service for a reason — it's the only thing standing between you and the full refund of your security deposit, or the smooth handover of a property to a new buyer. It is significantly more thorough than even a deep clean, because it covers every interior surface, including the spaces normally hidden behind appliances and inside cabinets.

What's covered (move-out)

• Every kitchen cabinet and drawer — interior and exterior, including the sticky residue at the bottom of drawers.
• All appliance interiors: oven (including racks and broiler), microwave, refrigerator (including freezer and produce drawers), dishwasher, washer/dryer if included.
• Behind and under appliances we can safely move — fridge, stove, washer, dryer.
• All bathrooms from ceiling to floor: vents, light fixtures, exhaust fans, shower glass, tile grout, toilets (base included), behind toilets.
• Every baseboard, door frame, and door in the home, hand-wiped.
• Every window track and blinds cleaned.
• All closets swept, vacuumed, and shelves wiped.
• Floors mopped or vacuumed throughout, including under where furniture used to sit.
• Light switches, outlets, and door handles wiped.

Move-in cleaning (the same scope, before you unpack)

Closing on a new home is exciting — but the previous owner's "clean" rarely matches yours. We do the same thorough scope on the new place before your boxes arrive. Once your belongings move in, this level of cleaning is much harder and more expensive to do.

Booking and timing

• Book at least 3-7 days in advance — these slots fill quickly, especially at month-end.
• The home should be empty of furniture and personal items when we arrive.
• We bring all supplies and equipment — you don't need to leave anything behind.
• Same flat fee in either direction (move-in or move-out).

Our promise

If your landlord or property manager flags anything we missed, we come back within 48 hours and fix it at no charge. We have not lost a single security deposit refund for a client who used our move-out service.
